This excursion offers the opportunity to admire the most important sights of Cairo and Alexandria; the largest cities in Egypt. The 575 km long bus journey takes you along the beautiful route along the Red Sea coast and through the imposing Sinai Desert to Cairo. It lasts about 7 hours. In Cairo you start the program with a visit to the only surviving wonders of the ancient world; the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. After lunch, visit the Egyptian National Museum, one of the most interesting sights in Cairo. Then drive to your booked hotel. After a short break you will be picked up for dinner. After dinner, a unique city tour takes place in both the old town and the modern part of Cairo. You will also visit the Khan-el-Khalili Bazaar. On day 2 in the morning drive to Alexandria - the second largest city in Egypt - founded in 331 BC. by Alexander the Great. After lunch, visit the Greco-Roman Museum, Pompey's Column, the Roman Amphitheater and the Kom Esh-Shukafa Catacombs. After dinner you will have the opportunity to walk along the famous embankment. On the 3rd day you will visit Fort Kait Bey, where the famous Pharos lighthouse is said to have stood. Then visit the famous Library of Alexandria. After lunch return to Dahab.
