Route

Day 1) Cairo Excursion

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada to then take you to Hurghada Airport in an air-conditioned vehicle. You fly to Cairo, where another guide welcomes you and starts your tour of the Giza Pyramids with you. You will also visit the Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus pyramids. On a viewpoint you can take wonderful photos of all the pyramids. You will then have the opportunity to explore the Sphinx Pyramid before reaching the Temple in the Valley. Next up is the Egyptian Museum with its Tutankhamen treasures. There is an extra cost to entering the area where mummies can be found. The Egyptian Museum has housed the oldest and most valuable finds from the ancient Egyptians for 5000 years. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before strolling independently through Cairo's famous bazaar, Khan El Khalili.
You will then be transferred again in an air-conditioned van to the train station in Giza to board the night train to Luxor. Enjoy your dinner on the train and spend the night in one of the comfortable beds.

Day 2) Luxor Excursion

Our guide will meet you at Luxor train station. The excursion from Hurghada to Luxor starts with an excursion to the Karnak Temple, which is one of the largest and most impressive buildings in the history of Greco-Roman antiquity. It impresses with countless columns. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, go shopping, and then cross the Nile in a motorboat. Afterwards you can marvel at the Königstal, including three burial chambers. The next stop is at Hatshepsut Temple. Due to its extraordinary design, it is one of the most characteristic temples in Egypt. It was built by the architect Senimut for Queen Hatshepsut. It was formerly known as the "Northern Monastery" to be recognized as a sanctuary to their god, Amon Ra, but is now known as El-Deir El-Bahary Temple. Before heading back to the hotel in Hurghada in the air-conditioned van, you can visit the Colossi of Memnon.
