Route

5-hour quad biking and camel safari with Bedouin dinner from Soma Bay.

We can recommend a quad tour to all those who would like to really swallow desert dust. She's great fun. Enjoy an adventure on quad bikes through the desert and experience an unforgettable sunset view. Experience the lifestyle of the Bedouins, who welcome you for tea in the tent.

The program:

Safari excursion from Soma Bay to quad biking in the desert of Hurghada. You will be picked up from the hotel in Hurghada or Soma Bay at around 13:00 and driven approximately 30 minutes into the desert to the Quad Center where you will be shown a brief introduction and safety precautions on how to operate the vehicles. You will then ride in line behind the guide. You will visit a Bedouin village with a camel ride and spend a few hours with the Bedouins. Dinner will then be prepared on the grill.

The Bedouins:
Bedouin, refers to a nomadic desert dweller (Arabic: al-bādiya, "steppe, desert") of the Syrian Desert, the Arabian Peninsula, parts of the Sahara, the Sinai and the Israeli Negev. The word badawī is not usually used as a self-designation by the Bedouins. They call themselves arab in contrast to the sedentary (non-nomads), ḥaḑar. This term referred to townspeople and peasants alike and means in Arabic: fallāḥūna (fallāḥīn). This in turn goes back to the term used to differentiate it from the Bedouins, namely fellache (“splitter, ploughman”). The Bedouins are Arabs and the vast majority follow Islam. They regard Ishmael as their progenitor. Descendents of the Bedouins who have meanwhile settled down are subject to considerable discrimination as Bedun (Arabic for stateless persons) in many Arab states.......

dear guests
It is not recommended to buy DVD's or photos on the quad safari or on the boat trips as the quality is mostly poor and that's why we don't offer it. It's just a notice to avoid a complaint.
