Route

description

Excursion Sinai Special 3 days by bus from Hurghada. In the early morning you will be picked up from your hotel. You will travel the first 300 km by bus along the beautiful route along the Red Sea coast to the Suez Canal. After visiting the Suez Canal and the sights of Ras Sudr (Moses Spring, Hammam Pharaoh and Parlif Line) you will have lunch at the restaurant. Then drive through the imposing Eastern Desert to St. Katharine. You will be accommodated in a 4 star hotel near the Catherine Monastery. You will be picked up from the hotel at around 2:00 a.m. to climb Mount Moses, which has a total of 3700 steps. The ascent takes about 2 ½ hours. Two-thirds of you climb the mountain on the back of a donkey or a camel. Walk the rest of the way - about 700 steps - up to the top of the mountain where you can experience the best sunrise view on earth. After descending Mount Moses and after breakfast, visit St. Catherine's Monastery nestled in mountain valleys, believed to be the oldest working Christian monastery and the smallest diocese in the world. In addition, this monastery owns the world's most valuable archive of Christian religious manuscripts alongside the Vatican. After visiting the monastery and having lunch, drive to Sharm el-Sheikh. Visit to the Dolphin Show. Then drive to your booked hotel. After dinner city tour of Sharm el-Sheikh. On day 3 you will be picked up from the hotel early in the morning and drive to Ras Muhamed for snorkeling. At noon drive back to Hurghada. We recommend sturdy, comfortable shoes, sun protection and a warm jacket for early mornings and evenings.
