Route

Description:

After your arrival at the port of El Sokhna, your German-speaking tour guide will pick you up at the exit of the ship and you will take an air-conditioned bus to Cairo for about 2 hours. There you will be welcomed by our German-speaking tour guide, who will accompany you throughout the tour. The excursion begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which houses over 120,000 pieces of art. The museum's entire collection includes items from the Old, Middle and New Kingdoms, as well as the King Tut Ankh Amun exhibition. Immediately afterwards you will be driven to one of the seven wonders of the world > The great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temples surrounding it. Then you will have your lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, you will have the opportunity to stroll around Cairo's markets. At the end of the day you will be driven back to the port.

If you are on holiday in El Sokhna or Sokhna Port in Egypt and do not visit the sights such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, the Cairo Citadel, the Coptic Churches in Cairo, Islamic Cairo or Pharaonic Cairo, you have something particularly missed. Your trip to Egypt costs just £2, which means beautiful photos to be taken with your loved ones in front of the pyramids.

Excursions from El Sokhna Port to Cairo are made with different means of transport. First there is a two-hour bus ride through the beautiful landscape of the Egyptian desert. We continue to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be greeted by our Egyptologist Ahmed Ali. He will introduce you to the history of Egypt. You will visit the Pyramids as well as the Sphinx. Another very interesting destination is the Egyptian Museum, where many of Cairo's sights await you. Visit us and we will accompany you for two days through a breathtaking country that offers many treasures to discover.
If you also like to go shopping, Cairo offers you the right shopping opportunities. Don't miss the sound and light show of the pyramids.
